The spelling of mis-en-scène is wild xD I've felt the same way about Costco cheesecakes, and I super don't get the inclusion of the whipped cream? It makes the actual cheesecake taste less good in comparison. I love cheesecake, but Costco is not it

As a nurse diabetes care and education specialist, I am glad to see this video. Diabetes doesn’t have to be scary. Diabetes is only scary when the A1C is above the recommended range. And even when it is, then it may just mean it’s time for some lifestyle and/or medication adjustment. I’m in the “normal” BMI, very active, and try to follow the plate method, but I fully acknowledge that despite everything, because of genetic and ethnicity, I may still get diabetes. Just the way it is. And Covid is rough. I have encountered some people who did not get diabetes until after they came down with Covid. Or maybe already had diabetes, then got Covid, and now suddenly their insulin needs have almost tripled. The physical stressor of Covid can just be too much for some people’s pancreases. And having diabetes doesn’t mean that anybody now has to sit at a separate table and be excluded from all the fun things. It’s not about being perfect all the time. It just means that we should be good to our bodies and make some of the better choices more times and being reasonable with the things that may not be so kind to the blood sugar. And what those triggers are can be different for everybody. Just being good to the body like everyone should be as it’s great for heart health too. At the end of the day, follow up with your practitioners, get your labs drawn at the recommended intervals, and check in on those sugars regularly.
